
Vernon, California-based Fishermanās Pride Processors, Inc. is recalling 100 bags of Schwanās Brand Garlic Herb Shrimp due to undeclared milk and soy. People who have allergic or sensitivity to milk or soy run the risk of serious allergic reactions if the recalled product is consumed.
The recalled product is packed in a 16-ounce white polyethylene bag with red graphics. The recall was initiated after the Garlic Herb Shrimp was found in cases labeled Schwanās Shrimp Scampi. Subsequent investigation found packaging of Schwanās Garlic Herb Shrimp was used to package Schwanās Shrimp Scampi.
Schwanās may have distributed the recalled product to the lower 48 states through Schwanās home delivery network. To date, there have been no reported injuries or illness.
