Recall Expanded for Undeclared Eggs

Distribution has been suspended until the FDA and the company are certain that the problem has been corrected.

Egg Allergen

Ottogi America, Inc. announced today it is expanding its recall to include 21 additional items related to the company's labels not containing a possible allergen in the ingredients. About a month ago the company recalled packages of Jin JJambbong and Jim Ramen Mild Cup due to the products containing eggs, which was not identified on the label.

The products were distributed to retailers nationwide in packages that included cups, bowls and plastic bags. People who have an allergy to eggs run the risk of an allergic reaction. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem. Distribution and selling of these products have been suspended until the FDA and the company are certain that the problem has been corrected.
