Used in areas prone to combined abrasion and impact, KERAFLEX systems include ALRESIST high-alumina ceramics or KALMETALL-W hard overlay welding plates vulcanized to steel base. Standard panels come in sizes up to 20 in.² with welded studs or countersunk bolts. ALRESIST-based KERAFLEX-KRM offers 1/2 or 1 in. tile thickness. KERAFLEX-WRM consists of KALMETALL-W hard overlay welded plates, rubber, and steel. KERAFLEX-KR has 1/8 to 1/2 in. thick ALRESIST tile and rubber backing only.
