For use in automatic toolchanging machining centers, TVU-IR resides in CNC’s toolchanger and is automatically deployed like any other tool. It checks for presence, size, and depth of internal/external threads, and following inspection, battery-powered unit sends pass/fail IR signal to standard receiving unit. Available in 3 sizes, unit is capable of GO gauging, NO GO gauging, and combination gauging. Cycle time starts at 0.7 sec.
