Suited to high-precision turning of small components traditionally finished on grinding equipment, GN-3200 Ultra-Precision Turning Center are intended for secondary finishing work and hard turning of heat-treated components. Max turning dia is 45 mm (1.77 in.) and max turning length is 50 mm (1.97 in.). Featuring heat-symmetric frame bed, it also has wing-type headstock and separate coolant tank to eliminate thermal distortion of body by machining heat. Single-slide X-axis turret and Z-axis spindle exhibit almost no lost motion; precision lubricant application improves ability to perform heavy-duty, high-precision turning. Required floor space is only 2.3 x 4.8 ft.
