Including low-maintenance design, flexible torque limiter coupling connects 2 supported shafts while providing overload protection for machine components. Multiple facings are spring-engaged to transmit torque to driven shaft until preset torque range is exceeded. Torque limiter then slips under load until jam is cleared or manual/sensor-triggered shutdown occurs. Coupling allows for up to 0.04 in. parallel offset and up to 3 deg angular misalignment between coupled shafts.
