A4-S inserts are latest additions to Beyond™ line of milling and turning tools. Available as precision-ground and molded styles in both flat-edge and full-radius face-grooving geometries. Aimed at face grooving on parts from 16–58 mm (0.630–2.284 in) in diameter and groove depths from 12–19 mm (0.47–0.75 in). Chipbreaker geometries extend tool life with more consistent wear, faster material-removal rates, and improved chip control across various face grooving applications and work materials. GMN inserts provide stable cutting edge, while GMP and GUP chipbreakers feature positive geometry for reduced cutting forces.
