Shrink-fit program is split in 2 lines, including GP (General Purpose) line for carbide, HSS, and steel shanks. For heavy roughing operations requiring higher clamping torque level, or for machining difficult-to-cut materials such as those found in the aerospace industry, HT (High Torque) line is recommended. HT line has a 30% to 50% higher clamping torque compared to GP line. The results are improved chip removal, faster performance, and increased productivity for the end user.
