Pressurex film detects and corrects pressure variations in lamination of dry film resist to board substrate, decreasing scrap. Film, placed between nip rollers in lamination press, permanently changes color directly proportional to pressure applied. Photoresist material is placed on board’s surface using hot roller system. Pressure-indicating film is 4 mil or 8 mil thick, can be hand- or laser-cut to any dimension, and measures pressure from 2 - 43,200 psi (0.14 - 3,000 kg/cm2).
