For bulk rod/shaft feeders, automated parts loader holds 1,500, 4.55 mm dia x 690 mm long, horizontal, bent raw rods in part hopper. Rod feeder has 3 stainless carbon steel-belted conveyors that rotate clockwise, parallel to each other. Each conveyor’s steel belt has grooves that separate rods as they slide into load nest, one by one, before passing them to rod straightener. Running on 110 Vac, loader includes Allen Bradley PLC and part queue system with max high/low switch.
