For hands-free crushing, FilterFlat converts used oil filters from EPA hazardous material into recyclable metal and oil. It connects to shop air and can reduce 9 in. filters to less than 2 in. in 45 sec by applying up to 24,000 lb of force. Drain hose directs removed oil to separate end-user-chosen waste container, and machine automatically shuts off when crushing cycle is complete.
