Mounted upside down, RoHs-compliant QuasarBrite shines directly into internal parabolic reflector for high-intensity brightness without external optics. Reflector produces high-intensity light to 100 cd at a view angle of ±6 deg from standard LED with energy consumption of 75 mW or less. With 93% reduction in beam angle, technology is suitable for medical device, security, sensor, and visible lighting applications that require concentrated, high-intensity light.
