Materials Microscope has modular design.

For routine applications in materials microscopy, Axio Scope.A1 includes 5 microscope upper bodies, 3 lower bodies, and 2 Vario columns which can be selected for respective requirements and combined into optimally customized microscope system. Sample area height can be continuously set up to 380 mm high, depending on configuration. Enabling C-DIC and PlasDIC techniques, unit offers 2-position sliders and 4- and 6-position reflector turrets as reflector modules.
