For OD, ID, and face grinding and turning operations, radial pole chucks include solid top plate, comprised of steel and brass material, that promotes rigidity and minimizes wear. They range in size from 6–16 in. dia, with profiles from 2.2–2.9 in., and also come in custom sizes. Chucks achieve uniform holding force of 145 lb/in.² and can have central through-hole. Workpieces designed for these chucks are ring-shaped parts, such as bearing races.
