Low Harmonic Drive actively attacks grid distortion

Said to be world’s first mass-produced low harmonic drive, VLT goes beyond reducing or masking current distortion and instead analyzes and actively imposes currents as needed in order to restore and ensure high-quality sine waves from power supply grid. Most drive elements are produced in large scale, increasing cost effectiveness. Typically configured to specific customer needs, VLT drive shares similar, modular technology of company’s high-power drives. Units handle 132 to 630 kW high overload and 160 to 710 normal overload, across voltage range of 380 to 480 Vac, 50 to 60 Hz. Meeting IEEE519 reccomendations, VLT Low Harmonic is UL, cUL, and Ctick listed, carry the CE mark, and is available in IP21/NEMA1 or IP54 enclosure.
