DR positioning stages are driven by noncontact, 3-phase brushless linear motors commutated either sinusoidally or trapezoidally with Hall effect sensors. With 15.6 in. footprint, stages offer travel lengths to 160 in., load capabilities of 442 lb, continuous force to 445 lb, peak force to 1,335 lb, velocity up to 200 ips, and acceleration up to 9 G. Stages are suited for use as base or X-axis in stacked multistage applications.
