For liquids or solids, Gladiator Vibration smart switch’s sensing element includes 2 prongs or vanes that when free to vibrate are driven to their resonant frequency by piezo ceramic elements. As level of material to be sensed rises, electronics sense change in prong movement and produce output which can be used for indication or control. Probe can be separated from amplifier by up to 500 m, and high temperature extension allows switch to handle process temperatures up to 150°C.
