Colored Ty-Rap cable ties are designed for outdoor applications subject to ultraviolet  ray exposure, which can degrade strength of untreated nylon. UL-Listed and CSA-certified products will blend in with cabling colors and not stand out where cables are in plain view. In addition to oval-shaped cable tie head, elements of construction include rounded body that does not cut into cables, and ribbed design that minimizes slips along cable.
