Providing high metal removal rates and process stability, Model GC4205 offers roughing to medium- and semi-finishing, and is designed for applications where high cutting temperatures are generated. It includes option for turning hard materials with HB greater than 270, and allows cutting speeds of more than 800 fpm. Insert has improved crater wear and plastic deformation resistance.
