Designed to detect liquid petroleum gas hazards before concentrations reach flammable levels, Xgard IR LPG features detection range of 0 to 100% LEL. Unlike catalytic pellistors, IR sensor detects flammable gas in inert backgrounds and is not damaged by high gas concentrations. Available in polyester-coated aluminum or Type 316 SS enclosure, it has life expectancy of 5 yr and is Exd flameproof rated and UL approved for hazardous areas.
