M- and R-size inserts and holders increase range from 0.59 in. for heavy-duty grooving to 0.02 in. parting widths. R-size insert achieves feed rates of up to 0.02 in./rev. M-size produces grooves from 0.354 to 0.433 in. wide and allows perfect chip forming at feed rates to 0.016 in./rev. Dedicated GC1145 grade has improved wear resistance and toughness.
