Working at speeds of 400, 200, and 100 Mbps, Model ST-C51394-250 XTENDEX 1394 FireWire Extender via CAT5e/6 extends 1 FireWire device up to 250 ft using CAT6 cable and 150 ft using CAT5e cable. Each extender consists of local unit that connects to a computer and remote unit that connects to FireWire device, and local and remote units are connected via Cat5e/6 cable. It supports Plug-n-Play specifications and does not need any software or drivers.
