Model Q45D offers selection of 2 measurement sensors. Galvanic sensor uses 5 ml Teflon membrane barrier to allow molecular oxygen to diffuse into reaction cell; reaction at electrode produces current proportional to oxygen concentration. Optical system measures dissolved oxygen with fluorescence quenching technique. Both versions incorporate air blast Auto-Clean system to remove materials that build up on sensor membrane. Cleaning cycle is user-selectable.
