Diaphragm process pumps can easily be customized for application-specific duty in industries ranging from nuclear to petrochemical. They can include ATEX or NEC (Class 1, Division 1, Groups C&D) explosionproof motors; special elastomers can serve to withstand potential low-level radiation; insulated, heated-head versions can be supplied to promote effective exhaust emission and stack-gas sampling; and corrosion-resistant materials can be incorporated for sampling applications. Pumps can achieve flow rates up to 300 L/min (10 SCFM), maximum vacuums up to 29.8 in. Hg, and maximum pressure up to 176 psi.
