Developed for field installation without disassembly of coupled equipment, AEGIS SGR are designed to provide clearance for shaft shoulders, slingers, and end-bell protrusions. Kits also protect bearings from electrical damage caused by circulating or shaft currents. Standard-size split-ring kits fit NEMA-frame motors with shaft dia from 0.625–3.375 in. as well as IEC frame motors with shaft dia from 19–95 mm. Custom-size kits are also available.
