For operation in temperatures up to 600ºF, Thomson stainless steel A ball bushing bearings deliver travel speeds up to 10 fps and accelerations to 450 fps², without use of derating factors. They have coefficient of friction as low as 0.001 that allows machine builders to use small motors, belts, gears, and ball screws in their machines when replacing high friction, plain bearings. Units come in 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, and 1 in. sizes with adjustable, closed, and open configurations.
