Automated Trim Press is based on lean modular concept.
Integrating robot load station, trim station, part unload mechanism, and scrap dump station, automated trim press is based upon shuttle process that rolls under press while robot loads metal casting. Part then gets trimmed and shuttle moves away from press to dump scrap into conveying unit. Automated rollover unit can be adjusted for different size scrap and integrated into any size Metal Mechanics trim press. It quickly evacuates scrap and flash away from casting trimming process.
