Model TAMS L488 connects directly to any test instrument’s GPIB port and allows it to be controlled over LAN using single Ethernet cable, eliminating need for GPIB cables or LAN to GPIB gateway. VXI-11 compatible compact miniature adapter has sustained data throughput of more than 1 MB/sec, and is supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows, and HP-UX. Meeting IEEE PoE standard 802.3af, it uses single CAT5 cable to provide both data and power to device.
