Model 7277 enables connection of any workstation or device between 2 other devices or networks. Switching can be controlled by front panel pushbutton or remotely from DB9 Control port using dry contact open/close logic, and front panel can be also be locked out remotely through contact closure. Network switch maintains last set position on power loss and continues to pass data. All 9 signals of interface are switched and all switch ports are transparent to all data.
