As alternative to conventional press brake forming techniques, Easy Bend tooling creates bend lines in metal with CNC punch press precision to ease hand bending. Upper tool has linear V-line stencil engraved onto face, and lower tool is blank die. Bend line penetration is dependent on ductility and thickness of workpiece; quality bend lines of up to 12 in. are possible in 0.078 in. thick mild steel and 0.059 in. thick stainless steel. Easy Bend can be used with company's SnapLock and SheetMarker tooling.
