Drawing from data of other CMM programs, Blade evaluates information, displays it, and uses results to determine different blade characteristics such as form deviations of profile, thickness at various points, and twist angle of blade. Algorithms are available to compensate for frequently disproportionately high length errors of turbine blades. Scope and type of evaluation and nominal data of each blade type are defined and stored. Record preview window displays effects of previously made changes.
