Infosense-P technology incorporates EEPROM memory chip, preprogrammed with each sensor's part number, manufacturing information, and full-range temperature calibration. Memory chip has direct path into control or transmitter's microprocessor, automating process of sensor installation and entering calibration data. When sensor is wired or connected to IEEE 1451.4 compatible electronics, controller accesses information and performs full high-order curve fit to correct for all known errors.
