When used in conjunction with smart switch, Q4 software manages communication of 4 serial devices, including baud rates, handshake requirements, device names, and installation notes. Each serial device is assigned virtual COM port within Windows XP, 2000, or NT. Software programs will communicate to each device as if it has its own hard-wired connection. Software supports data rates from 1,200-115,200 bps and runs on 10-15 Vdc.
