MicroLens molded light guides can be designed in sizes from 0.24-15.4 in. diagonal to provide single LED monochrome, bicolor, or tricolor backlights. Pixel-based light extraction technology provides transition area that spreads light uniformly, extracting light at each point across panel. With packages no thicker than 0.6 mm and power consumption of 1-20 mA at 3.5 V, applications include PDA keypads, desktop monitors, and instrumentation and control displays.
