When fitted with module, Model 250 labeler/applicator accommodates boxes ranging from 1-40 in. high at speeds up to 45 cases/ min. System takes data from upstream height detector and sends case height to indexer (±0.25 in.). Trailing edge of previous box triggers sensor. Pneumatic assembly then travels downward to apply label. For increased speeds, electric tamp system achieves throughput of 20 cases/min at 150 fpm.
