Employing thermal transfer technology, Ultimate 3000 Series uses menu-driven software that can design label, apply serial numbers, date stamp, access databases, and connect to host ERP and manufacturing systems. It uses variety of label substrates including polyester, metallized polyester, paper, and polyimide for temperatures to 600°F. Operating at speeds to 10 ips, systems are offered with 203, 300, and 600 dpi resolution for 4.5, 6.5, and 8.5 in. labels.
