Delivering RF attenuation, filtered ACARA prevents emission and protects sensitive computers as well as switching and cellular equipment. Connectors are available in current ratings from 65-100 A in variety of capacitance values from 100-600 nF. They offer EMI suppression to frequencies up to 6 GHz, and insertion loss of less than 100 dB beyond 6 GHz. Positive latch prevents accidental unmating, but allows for immediate power disconnect for emergency service.
