FANS

Large EC fans from ebm-papst now 5-bladed for quiet and efficient operation.
ebm-papst Inc., now offers a complete range of EC motors up to 3 KW for use in a wide variety of applications, such as building a/c, telecomm., ventilation and refrigeration technology. For large EC fans, ebm-papst has developed a new blade design that allows the fans to operate more quietly, using less energy. The new EC fans have 5 blades instead of 7. In addition, the blade ends are optimized with winglets (wider blade ends). Depending on the operating point, these improvements make it possible to greatly reduce the noise emissions. These new fans range in size from a blade diameter of 25-40 inches (630-910 mm).

LINEAR ACTUATOR

Hybrid Linear Actuator has integrated connector.
Size 11 hybrid linear actuators feature RoHS-compliant connector, offered alone or with harness assembly, which features positive latch for optimal connection integrity. Connector is rated up to 3 A, and mating connector will handle wire gauges from 22-28. Suited for space-restricted applications, motors are available in resolutions from 0.000125-0.002 in./step and deliver thrusts up to 25 lb. Actuator can also be custom-designed to specific application requirements.
