In July of 1983, Payson Casters purchased Roll-A-Way, making Roll-A-Way a subsidiary of Payson. Washington-Kinney, a material handling division of Roll-A-Way in Chicago, was purchased at the same time.
Over the years, additional conveyor businesses were purchased, increasing Roll-A-Way’s strength. In June of 1986,Roll-A-Way brought in Randolph Conveyor out of Chicago. American Overhead Conveyors was acquired in January of 1998, originally manufactured in Glenwood, MN.
