PYRATHANE ® (a combination of the words PYRAmid and ureTHANE) is our registered trade name for the polyurethane (also known as urethane) elastomer used in the manufacture of our endless stretch belts. Pyrathane® belts are used in a wide variety of low and fractional horsepower drive applications as well as transport devices for film, currency, small parts and many other items that need to be moved. Our belts are often used to replace O-rings which, while designed to be seals, are sometimes used as drive belts.
