Railings
Description
Railings are mechanical structures that are used as fall protection systems and ensure safety to personnel, thus preventing them from encountering a free fall. Fall occurs when the human body moves beyond point of recovery from its centre of gravity, which results in physical injury to the body. Railings are normally made up of standard pipes to ensure a uniform and continuous gripping surface throughout the entire length. The railing pipes are usually made of metals and may be powder coated to give a visual cue. Railings consist of a framework of vertical uprights and horizontal rails. These are available as a complete assembled set or as individual components.
