Pallet Trucks

Description

Pallet trucks are material handling equipment used for easy transportation of pallets and for ensuring safe loading and unloading of materials. They are used in many industrial applications to carry, transfer and restack materials from one location to another. Pallets are metal, plastic, or wooden frame, which hold barrels or boxes for shipment. Pallets are designed in such a way that they can be easily lifted by using a pallet truck or a forklift. Pallet trucks are operated either manually or are power driven. The type of pallet truck to be used depends on the type of loads/materials to be carried, and their storage and shipping. The lift capacity is affected by the lift height and load size. Pallet trucks are designed for all kinds of working environments including corrosive and unsanitary conditions. Materials used for pallet trucks are zinc, stainless steel; however, some of them are galvanized or chrome coated in order to resist highly moist atmospheric conditions.
