Cable Ties
Description
Cable ties are flexible fastening devices used to hold groups of wires and cables together with the aim of keeping them in an organized manner. Cable ties are also referred as zip ties, wire ties, zap trap, mouse belt, quick draw and lashing ties. They usually contain a nylon tape and an integrated gear rock. At one end is a ratchet within a small open case. They are traditionally made of polymeric materials known as polymides, but now are made from hook and loop material, aluminum, steel, etc. The various methods of tying cable ties are constrictor knot, binding knot, surgeon knot and cable lancing. Cable ties are single use devices as they are destroyed by cutting.

Releasable cable ties(40 and 50 lb)
Non releasable nylon cable ties.
Heavy duty cable ties(120 lb)
Standard cable ties (black, red and natural color cable ties) up to 50lb

Intermediate cable ties
Nylon cable ties are most common.

Applications
Normally cable ties are employed to fix the wheel trims in a moving vehicle. They are essential in construction, assembly and maintenance operations. Also these are used in police and military services to restrain criminals. Plastic cable ties are suitable for computers (CPU), electrical panels and electronics equipment. Black cable ties engaged in outdoor applications. Stainless steel cable ties serve petroleum, chemical, ship building and aerospace industries.
