Bending Machinery
Description
Bending machinery are metal fabricating machines used to bend and form sheet metal into curved/angular shape, or the stretching of it along a curved path by applying pressure. They are otherwise called as benders. Bending machinery integrate cells of right angle shear units, laser cutters, turret presses and bending units. Square rods, rectangular rods, round rods, square tubing, rectangular tubing, round tubing, standard pipes, complex pipe forms, equal/unequal leg angles, C/MC channels, S beams, T-bars, etc. are formed using bending machinery. Some bending machinery use rollers to form or bend the work piece in order to fabricate metal building components, supports, studs, angles, and hat/C/U channels. Bending machinery are available in various models and configurations to suit different industrial applications.
Types
The basic types of bending machinery are listed below:
Pipe bending machinery
Tube bending machinery

Applications
Bending machinery are used to bend pipes, tubes, wires, bars, plates, sheets, sections, etc. They are applied in automotive and aircraft industries for sheet metal fabrication work. Bending machinery also finds application in farm and earth moving equipment manufacturing industries. Bending machines are used to bend products for other market sectors such as power generation, hospital equipment, furniture, nuclear power stations, refrigeration pipes, electrical appliances, material handling equipment, etc.
