Advantech's WebOIT Series provides everything needed to connect PLC to the Internet with web-enabled automation technology of A-Studio's V5.1 SCADA/HMI development system.

The WebOIT Series combines Advantech Studio's integrated collection of automation tools with an Advantech industrial touch panel computer, providing customers with an all-in-one, ready-to-run solution.

A-Studio includes all the building blocks required to develop modern Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA) applications running native on Windows XP, 2000, NT, and CE or in an Internet and intranet environment. A simple drag and drop, point and click development environment simplifies the most complex behavior of live processes.

When coupled with a Windows CE.NET-powered device, Advantech Studio provides scalable embedded functionality to enable a wide variety of application possibilities. Using Windows CE.NET and Advantech Studio, embedded devices can cost-effectively perform functions such as remote monitoring and automated alarm/event reporting via the Internet. Studio's OPC client and server functionality, coupled with the extensive built-in communication driver library, enable embedded devices to function as gateways between PLCs or proprietary controllers and Internet/intranet.

A-Studio version V5.1 is Microsoft .NET technology compliant, runs under Windows XP and CE.NET, and supports the newest OCX version of OLE controls. A-Studio allows OEMs and end users to create web-enabled SCADA and HMI systems for process control, automation, and embedded controls. Advantech Studio is well suited for OEMs, offering a built-in software update capability and remote debugging tools.
