UE Systems hosts the fourth annual Ultrasound World conference January 27th -30th, 2008 at the Clearwater Hilton in Clearwater, FL.
Ultrasound World offers numerous lectures and workshops for maintenance and plant operations professionals. Presented by highly qualified international experts involved in all aspects of predictive maintenance and energy conservation, topics such as bearing monitoring techniques, lubrication programs, compressed air studies, steam trap surveys and electrical inspection will be the focus of this year’s event.
Guest Speakers & Featured Topics:
In addition to featured speakers already announced, new presentations continue to be added to the conference agenda.
UE Systems recently announced the inclusion of industry experts Ernesto Alonso Gayle Francis, Panama Harbor; Terry Harris, Reliable Process Solutions; Paul Payne and Kevin Whitehead, TVA discussing the effects ultrasound has had on overall predictive maintenance, lubrication inspection, and compressed air leak testing.
Ultrasound Predictive Maintenance: Ernesto Alonso Gayle Francis, Predictive Maintenance Supervisor for the Panama Ports Company, will be discussing his experience with The Utilization of Ultrasound Predictive Maintenance at Panama Ports. Ernesto will present examples and demonstrations of how to improve bearing lubrication procedures, trend and analyze faulty bearings, as well as some pleasantly unexpected additional benefits that include parts stocking efficiencies and lubricant usages.
Lubrication Inspection: Terry Harris, CMRP and owner of Reliable Process Solutions, will be presenting Using Specialized Ultrasound Instruments for Auto Lube. Terry will discuss in detail the methods and results of incorporating ultrasound instruments as part of condition-based lubrication instead of traditional preventive scheduling.
Compressed Air Leak Detection: Paul Payne and Kevin Whitehead, Senior Commercial & Industrial Technicians for the Tennessee Valley Authority, will be sharing their experiences through the presentation, The Leaky Plant & How to Quantify What You Find. Both men will outline some typical areas of concern within compressed air components, and demonstrate how to use the EPRI’s Compressed Air Survey software in connection with Microsoft Excel for reporting and tracking compressed air leaks.
