Using Piezite crystal element, accelerometer operates in radial shear mode which exhibits high sensitivity stability over time. Light weight of 0.14 g minimizes mass loading effects. Signal ground is isolated from mounting surface of unit by hard anodized surface. Low-noise coaxial cable provides error-free operation. Tool is included to ensure proper removal of cable and transducer in field. No external power source is required.
