The Tuskegee Airmen Share their Story at SMRP

The SMRP Diversity Committee invited the Tuskegee Airmen to attend the SMRP 16th Annual Conference in Cleveland, OH. They will share their remarkable story of conquering discrimination and adversity while battling for the right to defend freedom.

The Tuskegee Airmen were a self contained group of pilots, avionics and weapons specialists, as well as a team of equipment maintenance and reliability specialists, based on Tuskegee, Alabama. These brave Airmen simply wanted to join the military during World War II and help make a difference. Their enduring spirit will open your eyes as you hear of their unwavering commitment to defend America’s Freedom. They conquered many setbacks in their journey, and once they won the right to protect Freedom, they proved their battle was worth the fight.
