Syncing of multiple Series DC201 digital drives creates coordinated, multiaxis motion control system that needs no dedicated motion controller. High-speed network transmits position setpoints from host to each drive. Standalone drive comes configured for encoder or resolver feedback; performs third-order interpolation; and employs 5 kHz position loop. Bundled software performs tuning and configuration, including setup of protection and error-handling functions. Series encompasses units designed for 80 Vdc to 460 Vac supply and 15-100 A output. Units for Vac supply incorporate shunt regulator circuit with configurable turn-on voltage.
