Along with 1.75 micron OmniPixel3 technology, 1/4 in. OV3647 has 3 Mpixel image and can operate at up to 15 fps in QXGA resolution. It supports mobile display digital interface and also comes with parallel interface that can act as input for secondary camera. This enables sensor to share MDDI interface while also functioning as MDDI hub, reducing interconnects to baseband processor to increase reliability, reduce power consumption, and enable accelerated 2-way data transfer.
